3- Complete the sentences according to the video.
      1. We use the Past Continuous to talk about actions that were in progress in the past. Example: We were having a picnic. / The sun was shining.
      2. To form the affirmative, we use the past of ‘be’ + the verb in the -ing form. Example: I was laughing. / He was singing. / We were eating.
      3. To form the negative, we use not. Examples: The birds were not singing or The birds weren’t singing. / The sun wasn’t shining.
      4. To form questions, we change the word order. Subject + be change position. Example: It was raining. Was it raining?
      5. In short answers we only use ‘be’. We don’t use the verb again. Example: Was it raining? Yes, it was. / Were the birds singing? No, they weren’t.

      4- Choose the correct answer.
      1. At the picnic, was Jake wearing his sunglasses?
      A) Yes, he was.
      2. Were we enjoying our cheese sandwiches?
      A) Yes, we were.
      3. Were we having a bad time?
      B) No, we weren’t.
