1- Complete John’s story with the past progressive tense:

      A Visit to Loch Ness

Yesterday, I visited Loch Ness in Scotland. At one point, I was looking at the beautiful lake. Many people believe that the Loch Ness Monster, Nessie, lives there. As I was standing by the shore, I saw something unusual in the water.

Some tourists were taking photos, and a few scientists were studying the lake with special equipment. A family was having a picnic nearby, and children were playing close to the water. Everyone was hoping to catch a glimpse of Nessie.

While I was watching the water, a boat was moving slowly across the lake. The people on the boat were waving to those of us on the shore. It was an exciting day, and everyone was enjoying their time at Loch Ness.
