      4- Read the sentence. Then complete the rule with ‘Simple Past’ ,’Past Progressive’ and ‘when’.
      Rules:

      Use the Past Progressive to talk about an action or situation that was in progress.
      Use the Past Simple to talk about completed action in the past.
      Use when to talk about an action in the past that was interrupted.

      5- Choose the best ending for each of the sentences below.
      a) I was sitting on the chair when …
      ( X ) it broke.
      ( ) it was breaking.
      ( ) it breaks.
      b) I was having my soup when …
      ( ) a fly was falling into it.
      ( X ) a fly fell into it.
