      1- Complete the spelling rules for the superlative adjectives

      💥Short adjectives

      longest ⇒ long + est
      smallest ⇒ small + est
      highest ⇒ high + est
      richest ⇒ rich + est
      most adjectives: adjective + est
      largest ⇒ large + st
      nicest ⇒ nice + st
      widest ⇒ wide + st
      adjectives ending in ‘e‘: adjective + st
      thinnest ⇒ thin + n + est
      hottest ⇒ hot + t + est
      biggest ⇒ big + g + est
      adjectives ending in consonant+vowel+consonant: adjective + last consonant + est
      laziest ⇒ lazy – y + iest
      driest ⇒ dry -y + iest
      funniest ⇒ funny – y + iest
      adjectives ending in ‘y‘: adjective -y + iest
      💥Long adjectives

      most populous ⇒ most + populous
      most generous ⇒ most + generous
      most difficult ⇒ most + difficult
      most adjectives: most + adjective
      💥 Irregular adjectives

      good ⇒ best
      bad ⇒ worst
      far ⇒ farthest / furthest
      2- Complete the questions with the superlative form of the adjectives in parentheses.

      💥 Remember to use ‘the‘ before the superlative adjectives. Do not use ‘the’ after ‘your‘.

      Who is the oldest (old) person in your family?

      What is the smallest (small) room in your home?
      Who is the most handsome (handsome) actor?
      What is the most interesting (interesting) place to have a snack?
      What is the most expensive (expensive) restaurant in your city?
      Who was the greatest (great) writer?
      What is the best (good) time of the year for you?
      What was the happiest (happy) day of your life?
      What was your worst (bad) subject at school?
      What is the most dangerous (dangerous) sport?
      What is the strangest (strange) story you know?
      What is the most expensive (expensive) store in your city?
      Who is the youngest (young) person in your family?
      What is the coolest (cool) car?
      Who is the nicest (nice) person in your family?
      3- Choose five of the questions in exercise 2 and answer them.
