LITERARY SESSION- ALL LEVELS

Reading is a great way to learn as well as listening. When you read a book and also listen to the story as part of your English studies you will get the practice you need to become a better English speaker.

Instructions

1. Do the activities “Before you read”, on the last pages of the book BEFORE READING.
2. Listen to ONE chapter without the book and take notes.Write only the important things that will help you remember the main idea.
3. Listen AGAIN and read the chapter at the same time.Reading along makes you concentrate completely on the words. To practice pronunciation, stop the recording once in a while and read what you just heard out loud. Try to match the pronunciation of what you just heard. Can you do it?
4. Listen to the chapter one more time.
5. Prepare yourself to talk about ONE chapter every week.
6. Do the activities “After you read”.
7. *Watch the film and write about the differences between book and film. * ( only if there is a film available)

Ler e ouvir a estória de um um livro é uma excelente ferramenta de aprendizado.  Quando você lê um livro e também ouve a narração como parte dos seus estudos você adquire a prática que precisa para melhorar seu inglês na fala.

Instruções

1. Faça as atividades “Before you read”, que estão nas últimas páginas do livro ANTES DA LEITURA.
2. Ouça o primeiro capítulo sem o livro e faça anotações. Anote apenas as informações importantes que poderão ajudá-lo a se lembrar da ideia principal.
3. Ouça novamente e leia ao mesmo tempo. Sua concentração é total nas palavras quando você ouve e lê ao mesmo tempo. Para praticar a pronúncia, pare o áudio uma vez ou outra enquanto estiver lendo e leia o que você acabou de escutar. Tente ligar a pronúncia com o que você acabou de ouvir. Consegue?
4. Ouça o capítulo mais uma vez.
5. Se organize para  falar sobre UM capítulo por semana.
6. Faça as atividades “After you read”.
7. * Assista o filme e escreva sobre as diferenças entre livro e filme. (* apenas se existir filme disponível)
