LITERARY SESSION FOR TEENS

Reading is a great way to learn as well as listening. When you read a book and also listen to the story as part of your English studies you will get the practice you need to become a better English speaker.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Do the activities “Before you read”.
2. Listen to ONE chapter without the book and take notes.Write any words you can understand.
3. Listen AGAIN and read the chapter at the same time.Reading along makes you concentrate completely on the words.
4. Practice your pronunciation: stop the recording once in a while and read what you just heard out loud.
5. Listen to the chapter one more time.
6. Prepare yourself to talk about ONE chapter every week.
7. Do the activities “After you read”.

A leitura é uma excelente ferramenta para aprender bem como a audição. Quando você lê um livro e também ouve a narração como parte dos seus estudos você adquire a prática que precisa para melhorar seu inglês na fala.

INSTRUÇÕES

1. Faça as atividades “Before you read”.
2. Ouça o primeiro capítulo sem o livro e faça anotações. Anote as palavras que você consegue entender.
3. Ouça novamente e leia ao mesmo tempo. Sua concentração é total nas palavras quando você ouve e lê ao mesmo tempo.
4. Pratique sua pronúncia: pare o áudio uma vez ou outra enquanto estiver lendo e leia o que você acabou de escutar em voz alta.
5. Ouça o capítulo mais uma vez.
6. Se organize para falar sobre UM capítulo por semana.
7. Faça as atividades “After you read”.
